“COMPASSION” INSTALLATION AT THE SOUTHBANK CENTRE, FOR ARTIST MURUGIAH

We recently had the pleasure to work with artist and illustrator Murugiah, to fabricate his latest commission Compassion, for the Southbank Centre.

As part of Refugee Week, and created in collaboration with a group of young asylum seekers from Compass Collective, the piece is inspired by the artwork of young pupils across the UK featuring messages of welcome for refugees and those seeking asylum around the world.

As a fabrication partner, we worked with Murugiah to take his initial illustration design and transforming it into largescale printed cutouts, layered and assembled in 3D form in the street window of the Southbank Centre.

It was a joy to take his bold and colourful characters, and bring them to life physically!
